What Blogs Are You Reading?

I must preface this post by saying that I shamelessly stole this idea from Anne Jackson. I stole it because, well, she’s a blog that I read. She has her own list going here and a wrote a book that you can buy here. Now you know!

Here are some “must-reads” for me lately:

  1. Dave Housholder: He’s a dyed-in-the-wool Lutheran that doesn’t think like one. I appreciate that. All of the richness of the heritage without the baggage. Great read.
  2. Michael Hyatt: As far as established generations using new media go, no one can hold a candle to Michael Hyatt. A great blend of practical and the personal.
  3. Ben Arment: Short and purposeful. Easily digestible posts. I don’t miss what he writes because it makes me think and I don’t spend an hour reading it.
  4. Iowa Girl Eats: A great foodie blog–vibrant photos, practical wellness advice, and she’s an Iowan. Plus, she’s my baby sister. I’m biased!

    Of course, bedeviant.com for about five or six years now ;) !

    I think blogging is important, especially for leaders in the church. For me, they allow insights into not only what they regularly teach but what they are thinking and doing and their struggles and joys. Please keep it up everybody!

    Here are my main 2:
    bedeviant.com – young, smart leader that is forward thinking producing good content
    benarment.com – unbelievably connected, creative and consistent with quick hits of great content

    I check into several others sporadically, and read a lot through links on Twitter and others that get recommended randomly.

    I love these post. There are not enough of them.
    I read on average about 50 blogs a day (can get up to 100 if people post everyday) so I have a lot.

    But blogs that I never miss:

    -withoutwax.tv
    -stuffchristianslike.net
    -flowerdust.net
    and many more usual ones that everyone will list

    -http://morethanuseless.com –very honest writing that does not sound like he has it all figured out

    A smile is without doubt one of the very best, and the process is a lot more contagious. Folks need to see happy faces greeted them. While you smile, you send them the joy and happiness . It also symbolizes excitement in the composition of the channel. Each and every time we meet other people, always take care of them as. There’s a one who uses the identify of friendship firms with their fans. Seems like we’re hooked in to them and result in think again to our fans.
