How to Simplify Your Facebook News Feed

simple

If you’re like me, you enjoy logging onto Facebook and seeing what the people who you’re connected with are up to. Status updates and great snapshots into other people’s lives. For me, this is one of the best parts about Facebook.

Then there are the apps. And the quizzes. And the horoscopes. And the Farmville updates. Ugh. These things are what make me contemplate forsaking the ‘book permanently.

I think Facebook developers picked up on theses nuisances and built a handy little option into your Facebook news feed. This is a handy trick that I found the other day that allows you to remove users and/or apps, etc. from your news feed.

It’s simple. Find the item you want removed from your feed (in this instance it’s a horoscope), hover over the upper right hand corner until you get something like this:

Facebook | Home

Then click what you want to hide (if it’s a person, why are you friends with them anyway? :) ) and something like this should pop up:

Facebook | Home 2

Voila! Hidden. Bam. Done. Your Facebook feed is one step closer to being trim, mean and lean!
