I'll believe it when I see it.

The problem is when you survey internet activists and other tech geeks you get a pretty scewed perspective. For every techy out there, 3 people still using old technology. I heard people in the 90's talk about the United States turning into a paperless society because of the internet. The exact opposite has happened.

I am a admitted tech geek, but I do not and will not own a cell phone with internet access. It's a completely excessive and wasted monthly expense for me. I much prefer looking at my 17″ laptop screen and typing on a keyboard anyway.

When we become so dependant on the internet that we have to have access every second of the day, it borders on addictive behavior. No thanks. I'm already online way too much.
