I Think God is Doing Something

Dreams. Seems everyone’s talking about them.
From Ben Lemery,
To John Saddington,
To Ben Arment,
To Mitch Matthews,
To Yours Truly,
Dreams seem to be the language of the season. Recently, I’ve noticed this to be the language of pop culture as well. Everyone has a dream, it seems, but few know how to go about achieving them.
Is that you?
Outside of realizing the dream, what do you think is the first step in seeing a dream come to pass? For those of you who have done the hard work and are “living a dream,” what would you say to someone who thinks it is not possible?
Whenever there’s a swell of common thought on one given topic–either inside the Church or out–I think God is up to something. And believe me, if there’s anyone who wants to see your inspired dreams come to pass, it’s God.

I have very "materialistic" dreams lately like having my own car and being able to start paying for a house. Maybe the first step should be PRAYER to ask for guidance and of course provision from the Lord to make these dreams come true.
My current big dream is one I gave up on a long time ago. I was part of a massive layoff at my company a few months ago. It was very challenging at first, but now I see it as the best thing that could have happened to me.
I planned to one day start my own graphic design, marketing and web design company since I was in college. Getting caught up in the rat race and "yes man" culture of America made me lose sight of that dream.
I'm two months into my entrepreneurial adventure and I've never felt so optimistic in my design career. It's in God's hands now.
