We all know name-droppers. People who flagrantly attach their names to others in hopes of appearing important:

• “Johnny Football Hero is my best friend. He wrote in my yearbook and told me to ‘Have a nice summer!’”
• “Not doing much today. Just going to hang with Suzy Popular Pants and listen to her tell me how awesome I am!”
• “Went to the Most Popular Band Ever concert tonight … They asked me come backstage and do my magic show for them. I’m so in demand!”

Yeah. Like that.
